“Longueville is a suburb on the north side of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. Longueville is located 10 kilometres north-west of the Sydney central business district and is in the local government area of Lane Cove Council.
The population of Longueville was 2,780 in the 2016 Australian Census.
Longueville was first settled by Europeans in 1836 and gazetted as a village in 1861. The suburb was named after an estate in France. The original estate owner, George Longueville, had died by the time the suburb was named.
